“Hmm, where’s Karen got to? I haven’t heard or seen her online for months. Maybe she’s given up on the whole blogging thing?”

I’m sure HEAPS of people have been saying EXACTLY that, I’m sure of it.

I’ve been busy doing new stuff, in particular, learning how to podcast, and today’s the big day, the day that I hit PUBLISH on the first few episodes on my new channel:

The Menopause, Marriage and Motherhood Podcast!

It’s actually taken me MONTHS to do, mainly because I dithered about the format and I worried about getting it right and what if no one wanted to listen to me or everyone hated my voice?

And then, the worst bit was the Introductory Episode where I got to talk all about myself.

You’d think that would be the easy bit, talking about myself, but no: it was one of the most difficult things I’ve ever done. What do I say? What do I include or not include? What’s relevant? What’s boring? Do I sound like I’m bragging? Accompanied by the ever-present thought of “oh god, do I really sound like that? Everyone’s going to hate me!”

But it’s finally all come together and after an hour or so’s procrastination over pressing the publish button this morning, they are up and running!

Live!

Ready to listen to!

The Menopause, Marriage and Motherhood Podcast is all about how “ordinary” women are dealing with all the stuff life throws at us when we get to a certain age: empty nests, menopause, getting back into the workforce, changing body shape, even things like cancer and the breakup of your marriage.

This is about connecting women.

It’s about hearing the extraordinary stories that all “ordinary” women have.

It’s about inspiration, laughter, fun and love.

So, come and join me and listen to some of the amazing things that these women are dealing with and what they’ve been up to.

Please, please, PLEASE…

…listen to the podcasts,

…subscribe to the channel and…

…share, share, SHARE! The more people we can connect, the better.

This is going to be fun!
