Meet the inimitable Dawn Bates: prolific author, human rights activist, and a personal and business mentor that gets the most incredible results in a really short space of time.

Dawn’s just released the first in a series of novels about social justice, covering things like date rape, human rights abuse and domestic violence.

All of the stories are based on actual events that have happened to people she knows, so I was keen to talk about all of those things and find out more about the work she does and how she got to connect with those people.

Which we did, just not in any particular order. But that’s how a great conversation goes, right?

In this episode, we discuss what it takes to be a true leader, and how difficult that is to actually define, as well as the fact that of the men in the US who seek counselling for sexual trauma, a whopping 57% of them have been raped by women.

So come and find out more about this amazing woman and the work she’s doing in the world.
